I heard the most heart warming story today. The place that services my car provides a shuttle service while your car is being repaired. It’s been the same driver for all the years I’ve been going there - Dario from El Salvador. Every time he drives me home we chat and it’s often about family. He has very interesting stories to share and I love listening to them. Today he was telling me about his sister-in-law who was told she would never have children. He didn’t go into the details but said that several tests indicated conclusively, that she was unable to conceive. Her sister who lives in Mexico told her to come down and swim with the dolphins and she would get pregnant. Everyone thought it was nonsense but she went ahead with her sister’s recommendation. To her doctor’s complete dismay, two months later she conceived and today she has a beautiful, healthy 9 month old baby boy.
I love hearing stories like this because it’s a reminder that miracles happen. How could swimming with dolphins help this woman conceive? Who knows. A mom who I know through Baby Sign classes was unable to conceive so she and her husband finally adopted. Three months later she was pregnant. They are now the parents of two, lovely baby girls just a few months apart. I think we’ve all heard silimiar stories. Never though have I heard about swimming with dolphins as an answer to infertility.
