2009
Despite lots of thoughts and ideas running through my mind lately, I’ve had writer’s block. I’ll start something and then delete it. Or I’ll think of something to write about and then change my mind. I did not want to get to the end of the week though without wishing all my readers a very Happy Holiday – wherever you may be and whatever you celebrate this time of year. I’m grateful for the thousands of people who read this blog. You all inspire me.
It’s my intention that each of you will find a nugget of wisdom that you can apply to your family life. Raising a family is not easy and it’s something we’re all expected to just naturally know how to do. Children come with their own unique temperment and personality; something we have no control over. When all of us come from different backgrounds, it can be challenging coming up with an approach to parenting with our partners that is consistent and united. What I know for sure is that all of you who read my posts, care deeply for your children and want the best for your family.
It is my heartfelt wish for all of you that you have a holiday filled with love, peace and joy. Try and remember what matters the most. It’s not things, it’s people. Wishing you all a happy and prosperous 2010!
Love, Barb
