During your child's formative years - up until about age 5 or 6 - they are most influenced by the words you use. And your understanding and use of words in the years following that will also be responsible for molding your child's future.

It took me decades to overcome the impact that my own parents' consciousness and belief system had on my life. I studied about the mind for years and years and applied mental and spiritual principles to overcome the lack consciousness that I acquired from my well meaning parents.

The study of mental and spiritual laws and prosperity consciousness should not begin when we are floudering as adults - following the struggle and pain. It should begin in the home to prevent it. Parents should understand how the mind works and the impact of their words even before they decide to conceive. They should take responsibility for the beliefs they are putting in their child's mind.

Awareness is everything. And the greatest legacy you can leave your children is the gift of a prosperity consciousness. A prosperity consciousness is not just about money, although a child's beliefs about money will influence them throughout adulthood. It is also about self worth and self esteem.
